QQBeastMode This album took a couple listens to fully open up to me, but I'm glad I gave it a few spins. Whole album feels like a slow pull into the underworld. Definitely crushing, love the riffing at end of Morning Star Possession. For a solo act, super impressed. Strong dissonance and anxiety vibes from this album. Voidlairofthewolv This album cascades through a myriad of emotions, ranging from slow funeral dirges to chaos fueled madness. This extends from dissonant riffs to melodic hook laden sections. The construction of the songs allow these forces to work naturally with one another creating an enthralling encounter.

Dave Aftandilian Death is not an end, merely one path to higher understanding. Baptized in my own flowing blood, I feel my heart race, slow, stop, then start anew, gripped in waves of pulsing, icy terror. I know the ritual names of each of my bones, which I have removed one by one and stacked neatly around me. I anoint them with the shining adipocere of my rotting corpse. Lighting my own funeral pyre, I smell the savor I will use to lure the gods to their ruin.

Revenant Marquis continues with the subterranean vocals on this album. Percussion sound on all tracks has a very large sound, especially the bass drum. Guitar is generally very clean. The more I listen, the more I get Xasthur vibes, but with a more rock and roll influence. Still very depressive and chaotic. A cool album! QQBeastMode
